Structures involved around your neck.

Cervical vertebrae C1-C7.

C1 and C2 are highly specialized and are given unique names, Atlas and axis.

C3-C7 consist of body, pedicles, laminae, spinous processes and facet joint.

C7 has a large spinous process that protrudes in the back.
